not much. a few promising puffs then nothing. About 5 to 14 knots ESE.(so far)![]()
I'm hoping its going to fill in a bit around one or twoish.
any more updates? keen to get out for this first time this season on some new gear!!! its killing me
Lake cootharaba was the place to be. About 20 knots give or take. Its been soooooo long. Sore but happy.![]()
What is it like up at Lake Cootharaba? is it a good place to take a young family, with things to do for them, whilst out windsurfing. Does it get busy, able to go mid week.
Hi AUS718, I was at Elanda Point recently. Very beautiful camping spot. I guess way more space than Boreen Point and absolutely not crowded, even though we were there over public holiday and weekend. Kinds can play table tennis, dunno about other options.
I have been there heaps of times. Kids can go finishing, you can hire tinnies, hire canoes, hire sailing boats etc. They also put on kids movies most evenings. Also the lake is less than 1 metre deep a long way out so the kids can play safely in the water.
Beware of the windsurfers for hire, they weigh about 2 tonnes and have 1/2 inch sails ![]()

Thanks for the input trauma, evilC might go for a drive up and have a look at the place see what is good.
