There has been some discussion about trying to get a round of racing in before Christmas. As the last 3 rounds have been done in by the wind gods, the idea of getting a race in has been put forward. now the tides are not very good for the 14th and are better for the 21st. The forecast this sunday is also rather ordinary with this NNW crap hanging around.
So the question is, are Bayside members keen to race on the 21st? or is it just to close to christmas, and everyone is otherwise engaged (being dragged around the shops by the wifey
). If there is enough interest, we will have a go - but we need to know this week.
Thanks all.
You could almost do it this weekend High tide 11am 2.6m high.
Was thinking about heading up to the lake on the 21st just to get a race in.
Even better if theres one down here![]()
As it seems there are a number of guys with other engagements, it would be a little unfair to disadvantage them by running a club event at such short notice. Why don't we head up to the lake and race there on the 21st? It would not be for club points, just for the enjoyment of it - oh and winner buys the beers
, or even better the race sponsor
.
We will still have our lake weekend which we have planned for next year. And throw in a few extra rounds in jan, feb and march to make up for the misfires we have had recently.
Waddayathink![]()
Also the forecast for sunday is crap
It looks like a brownie point moment for club members. Anyone with good brownie point ideas please put them forward - I'm sure our members would appreciate them.
