I am a female living on the Sunshine Coast (Noosa) and LOVE windsurfing, however there doesn't seem to be any other females sailing. I am always sailing with a group of guys which is fine but it would be nice to have some girls as well! I am a mum of 2 and wondering if there are any other women who maybe use to sail (pre children) and would like to get back into it or are sailing but maybe not in the same spots as I am!!

Yes that is me and I windsurfing on the Sunshine Coast(also mum of 2) but down the south end at Caloundra/Mooloolaba area. There used to be a few more girls out down here years ago, but only a couple now.
I find the same thing that I am usually out with all the guys.

Thanks for replying girls! shame that your both so far away!! My kids are also quite young so it means hubby has to mind them which is not very often as it cuts in on his sailing times with 'the boys'. I think I need to hire a windsurfing nanny!!

I think HC would make a good nanny. He can look after all our kids on the beach and take some action shots while the girls have some fun
