Trops just about covered it

I thought I saw a wave here once but was mistaken

No wind atm but generally it should be good till at least the end of August. If you've seen that photo of Troppo at Green I've posted a few times, that was in August. Depending what you want to stay in, there is a couple of caravan parks in Cairns. Lake Placid Caravan park near me is about 20min to the Green island ferry, less than 10min to Yorkey's and fairly central for things to do if no wind but too far to stagger home if on the town.
Green has flat water at low tide and choppy at higher tides, generally good constant wind all day when it blows. The coast as in Yorkey's is generally gusty with wind chop & swell. As said no waves but plenty of ramps if that's your thing.
Give me a yell if you come up and I'll go to green with you, if I'm on days off or I can lend you a Green Island Trolly or two, PM me your email address and I'll send you my contact details. I'll help where can.
