I found them! They aren't brilliant as it was a dull day and I used max zoom but they are ok for a record shot.Theres one in there that shows why reaching is scary! Sorry there isn't more variety but I only took photos for 5 mins after I had packed up from sailing.

Thanks for the photos Sue. I cant see which photo of reaching you are talking about, they are all on the wind.

Thanks for taking and posting the photos. It was actually a pretty full on day with 20+ knots. Really enjoyable racing at Valentine, Lake Macquarie.

I'm glad you like them. I had a great sail that day on my 125 Tabou + 5.8m launching from where the photos were taken.

What is Rick Murray (AUS4) doing in the second last photo? Looks like he is holding the uphaul.

Is this a new technique we should all adopt?

Its usually a light wind technique, but its obviously working for Rick - he was flying

Someone told me to get upwind better to hold the front of the boom or uphaul as you position your body forward.I tried it & it worked!
