^^^ sorry buddy i dont understand what to tell you, the wind strength shouldn't be that different from sandringham to kyeemagh in a southerly,,,taren pt, and all that area that roar is indicating is the flattest on offer, its an enjoyable spot at the sailing club, easy park, rig, a bit of a walk on sand then straight into the action,,, canton is a little bit better, not flatter but more flat water as opposed to strips, but weedy, real patchy but safe ect narra lakes, definately work better more West, but wsw is doable, collary would be ok, flattish, cross to offshore,,,,,,,,,,,,,,there is a new spot near toukley that the locals are very excited about, thanks to deltas a lot of spots are now more accessible..............................................ENJOY
I think your post needs to be clarified a bit. Kyeemagh in a Southerly is definitely better than Sandringham. It may not be windier (but in my opinion it is) but it certainly is more consistent. 6 years flicking back and forth between the 2 spots has given me enough experience to comment. SW is a different story, but S or SE it is the best in the Bay. Flattest water in the Bay will however be at Sandringham up at the strip which is only exposed on a low tide.
Canton is INFINITELY better than the bay IF you want flat water. As long as you have a good weed fin you will have a ball. As long as the weed is up then the water will be some of the flattest you have ever sailed and you can get NM runs in easily.
The Toukley spot is moot as it is only a proposition in a NE. For S or SW head to Canton for sure.
