when designing event poster try to find a shapely young tart in skimpy bikini to photograph. If you can't manage that then a mangey old sheep might do. But never, ever use a photo of a decrepit, ancient, crippled, ugly old bugger vainly struggling to pull on his downhaul. This is not a good image, at least not in places other than Woollongong.
I probably would have just written "BBQ" in massive letters across the whole poster and then in a tiny font down the bottom = "IYC Windsurfing 6 Hour Team Marathon" and the dates etc.
We've unfortunately been forced to postpone the event.
the Lake's permanent entrance plus a lack of sustained rainfall has meant water levels near the club have dropped to a level we're uncomfortable in running the comp so we'll postpone till a later date and hope levels normalise in the meantime.
