Hi all,

A reminder that Heat 3 (Autumn Regatta) of the 2010/2011 "The Windsurfing Shed" Four Season Regatta series at Marmong Point is scheduled for this coming weekend (19th/20th March).

"The Windsurfing Shed" have joined us as the major sponsor of the Four Seasons series. As part of this sponsorship, Remi and his crew have generously supplied the following great prizes:

Formula/Slalom Windsurfing - Open Division
1st - Maui Sails TR5 11.0 metre formula sail
2nd - Maui Sails Race boom bag (20x70x290cm)
3rd - Maui Sails Formula board bag

Formula/Slalom Experience+
1st - Maui Sails TR4 11.0 metre formula sail
2nd - Maui Sails TR4 8.4 metre slalom sail
3rd - Maui Sails TR4 7.0 metre slalom sail

These prizes will be awarded at the end of the series in July 2011, based on overall results from the four race series (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter).

I can only hope that suggested these two events in jest.

I cannot begin to imagine what would happen if somebody sent the trouble and strife to a body painting festival then a bike and hot rod show at Maitland.

Tips & Tricks

I will be running a tips & tricks lesson Saturday 10:30am
The lessons will be aimed at self improvement.

Day 1 of the regatta was run today with three races held this afternoon in a light SE breeze. Great to see about 15 competitors including Roger, David Howe, Christoffe and Remi up from Sydney.

In the open fleet Byron and Steve Walsh were the top finishers while Barry Fawkes loved the light conditions and is easily ahead in the FE+.

Forecast for tomorrow is looking much better, so anyone is welcome to enter for just the day. A reminder that the first possible race is scheduled for 11am.

At the end of racing, we will have the presentation, and then the BBQ will follow straight after. Looking forward to some more racing tomorrow.
