Launching from the Storm-riders club house at Georges River Sailing Club is a great spot to launch from in a southerly, especially with big slalom gear. Park in the car park, rig on the grassy knoll and launch from the beach in front of the club. There are heaps of flat water options once you head out across the channel(Elephants Eye). You can make your way up to the speed strip or hug the shore line on the other side of the channel there and blast across the wind along that shore line.
Joining the club will give you the additional option of a warm shower and beer upstairs afterwards!
