The Exocet 100 was the bomb.
I've never sailed a slalom board before and I regret not buying one years ago now. Might have to find room for one after today's ride. Accelerates like just wow; you need to get in the straps fast. Gybes beautifully. All-in-all an easy board to sail too. I was expecting something technical but it was a complete blast. It even dried my hair.
Efficiency speaks for itself doesn't it.
I'm sure the slalom gear is mostly about what's
not there; drag and weight. Flat rocker. What does the Exocet weigh? 1Kg? It nearly blew away when I picked it up.
The select Viper 37 that I guess comes with(?) was excellent too. Only lost grip once when I was pushing hard upwind, and it recovered immediately. Fitted nicely with a 6.6.
Sheet in and really,
really go. I've been dickin' around on FreeRace gear too long. Anyone thinking of making a jump just do it. Would go nicely with a GPS.

Very tempted, but I'll be on my FSWave single board solution for this season at least. Plus I'm not sure all that aviation fuel hasn't made me a bit ill today.
(BTW: Sail was a loaned HSM Speeddemon. Props to Jonathon but I don't want to steal this thread. Should have seen his face when I ever so slowly started catching him on his iSonic, he thought I was still on my FSWave board.)
Nice to meet a few unfamiliar faces too yesterday. It's like radio I guess; I imagined you all very different.
