Yeah you are right Phil, that sandbank separating the beach from the river in the south of the piccy looks like a very mini version of Sandy Point. In a NE you would hooting for a short run..........you would just get wound up on a close reach / broad reach and have to gybe and tack all the way back, or on this tide walk all the way back over that sandbank

.
The bank at the Manning Point opening looks like a hooter for a run in tide, big long sheltered runs in a SE. Looks like this but longer and deeper water close to the bank. Phil emailed me a pic of it one day - stick it up Phil if you still have it. Was speaking with Mark Jordan about it again last week, and he said that it is dodgy to get to via car from Manning Point, need to time the tide right and it is a long soft sand drive. Easier to use a boat to get over there (put in at Harrington and fill with gear) so I hope one of you still has a boat till the end of winter

....I am good for petrol money.....honest

. Would be awesome to get the team over there and fill marks boat, Phil's boat and Nics rubber ducky with sailors and gear and spend the day GPSing.
Catching a bomb SE on an incoming tide is like waiting for the planets to align given our recent experiences with disappointing outcomes from kick a$$ looking forecasts......ANYWAY!!!!!!!
Well that went off topic, sorry Nic, just more stuff about southern MNC. I guess the solution after all is to move down. All commissions are rebated but fees charged/paid

When you moving down Phil?
