helllllllloooooo, my understanding is, no, the council doesnt sell it, and its reason for such poor management in regards to a kazillion tonne of rotting weed, is they couldn't afford the tip fees, so current plan is to contract out the retrieval of surface weed, only so much, then they are going to trial it as fertilizer in local schools, the council have claimed its the cost associated with the dumping, not the retrieval, that is main reason for such a build up, me, i dont care, i only care about windsurfing the lake, so based on that, they should just leave it, birds seem to enjoy it, and over time, we will move on too a new spot, and continue to push the boundaries of physics, speed, human endurance......and bullcrap
