Drop into Windsurfnsnow at Collaroy. Their board repairer is on the Central Coast and does a great job. 9971 0999

Thanks, I'll try WS&S at the weekend. It seems strange that there's not a repairer on the Northern Beaches given the large number of surfboard shapers located in the area.

I'm hoping to get my board back in time for the Gerroa fest at the end of the month.

I had my board repaired at Splash Surfboard Repairs at Brookvale. Craig did a really good job.

Thanks. I probably need to strike up a relationship with a repairer as I think this is going to be a regular occurrence.

Im the Patrik Boards importer and I'm on the northern beaches. The Patriks are high tech and we work with Tim Webster who has worked with Oracle Americas cup and investec loyal hobart winner and Ragamuffin and stuff like that. Also smaller things like moths.

Dave is right also. Dolly is excellent. the address is near Mackellar girls school.

In that case you would be better off reading some great posts in these forums to do your own repairs. Unless it's a major structural job requiring vacuum pump, fixing cracks and bumps on your board is very easy, only if you want a good finish it can be time consuming.

Thanks all. As for fixing it myself, I'm happy to bodge up an old surfboard but not a new windsurfing board

I've got a smashed nose on my Fanatic Quad and an odd spongy bit on the deck which weeps water.

Who do you guys recommend to match up the graphics etc?

I suppose I could get it fixed at any surfboard repairer but I doubt they'd have the skill to try to match the graphics (basic) to make it an invisible fix.

Has anyone ever got their nose made stronger / reinforced to avoid damage caused by unplanned exits via the front door? I hate the loof of those nose protectors and mast bras.....

Thoughts?

I'm in Mascot by the way and will travel to a good repairer.
