Personally I reckon we are better off with more teams, rather than bigger teams.
I say this because as the teams get bigger, obviously it gets harder and harder for any particular member to have any impact. This could lead team members to be more conscious of their individual rankings than those of their team - which is the opposite to what we is generally agreed to be encouraged.
More teams = more team focussed.
