And it's a secret spot ("Fos sur mer" in the south of France btw) so they won't release their gps files to be checked.

Humph! By that that measure, (37kts x 2) Craig Hollins and did over 74 knots (2 sec) on the speed tandem
14 years ago!
And it only took two of us to do it.
(37.08kt x 2 secs) 68.52Kt x 500m (34.26kn)
