Hi i wanted some info on sandy point if i was to come up 4 a few days is there much cheap accomodation around.

Well..... that depends on your expectations.

Roughly in order of cost, $0 to $1000's per week:

Van and spot on beach to park? Tent in camping park? Backpacker room behind takeaway shop? Holiday flats? Rental house?

for houses, call the caravan park about an on-site van or call the Sandy Point Cafe about their backpackers room.

Thanks heaps mate yeh great help, cheapest accom as possible only care 4 the windsurfing back packers or tents sound great

When are you coming? The wind at SP is reaonably predictable, but either quite frontal or requires a seabreeze -> so the best time to come is either the middle of summer or when there is going to be a good SW'er.

The caravan park is probably your best bet for tent'ing.
