after a 35min session today KA 72 says my distance is 19156.3 kms.
by my calculation my new PB of 33.58 knots should be much higher as my average speed was 32839.37km/hr
any ideas???
I wonder what units the distance measurement is in?
Could be metres I guess, I haven't used ka72 much so couldn't tell.
It would be nice if the units were shown next to the results.
Yeah - I got 93000 yesterday, assumed it was metres, though that seems like too much. I will double check it in GPSAR when I get the chance - would expect more like 50km.

This distance is metres. Sorry, I recently changed the results interface, and previously it showed distance in kms.
When I next update the interface I'll make sure I include the units.

Regarding the distance, KA72 was displaying incorrect distances due to a type conversion issue. I have fixed this and also reverted the page to displaying in KM again (big sigh of relief.)
Those of you who thought it was showing too much distance were correct.

Oh, by the way, you don't need to re-upload files to verify the distance. Just go back to the track file and re-view the results, and the correct distance will be displayed.
