Thank you very much guys.
The conditions here in Finland are not the best for speed surfing but we will be doing our best
I have about 8 people on board and more to come. Not registered yet.

Do not worry if the conditions are not the best. There are many teams in Australia who do not have ready access to spots with strong winds and flat water.

Best of luck getting your team going and we are looking forward to your first posts.

welcome Rough riders, as has been said do not worry about conditions for speed surfing, many of us in the competition are way off the leaders for some or all of the 6 divisions, but we have a great time and try to beat our own previous best speeds etc. Most teams have one or more very quick sailors and other less quick people who are in it for the fun.
I think the most important rule in the competition is that only the fastest 2 sailors in a team are counted for that day, all other slower people can post their speeds knowing that they cannot make their teams speeds slower. I am almost always in the second group (where my speeds do not count!)
