Got to admit that last month was one of the worst for sailing I've seen.

Not that I'd want to give the SRM a convenient excuse

Congrats to those who struck gold last month

well one point that we could not findany way nice effort from every one.

i think the queensland teams will probably dominate with a few other teams that have guys heading up to the green island speed week.

Only three sailing days in SA for May (I missed all three!) and if you look at GPS-SS, 8 of the top ten for 09, put times up in May. a quiet month for wind but fast times when it was around (for some).
Watching Green Island for June, good luck to all who can make it

We finally get one(maybe). After coming second last month by 1 pt and 2pts the month before I think we were due some luck. Well done Tassie, maybe next month it will be yours by 1. We definately wouldn't have got it without our adventure over the border!

Congratulations SA!

We were trying hard alright, and will have to pull out something special to fight back in June. It won't be this week though, that's for sure.

Hello Isaac,
the forcast on this site is extremely suspect, for Perth anyway
less than a week ago- today and yesterday where looking good for some frontal action!..at this point i would suggest the wind may have goten to 13knots once in the last week?
imho wind direction here in the west is not that important as long as we get some wind.... 15kn plus.
we dont really have a speed strip of any note other than pt walter (where slowboat may crack a 40 if the planets line up! and yo yo's(this place requires solar systems to line up!).... others may disagree.
as far as i am concerned give me 15knots consistent....and on a weekend!!!!(heaven forbid) and i will be happy!

actually i think i went in a little to high in the last sentence? i would happily take a gusty, holey 12 knots.... in the rain! as long as it was on a weekend!

congrats to Sa and Tas. It is funny how the honours can swing around this huge country.
As for WA, I agree with Snides, 12kts in the rain sounds like heaven at the moment
