KA72's Fast February 2026 - Entries Now Open
Fast February is back for 2026 and entries are open now. Open to windsurfing, windfoiling, and wingfoiling, and for the first time it's open to international sailors, not just Australia.
New for 2026 we've added classic GPS divisions alongside the distance-based ones, including 5x10s, Alpha, and the Nautical Mile - so there's something whether you're chasing outright speed or clean, technical runs.
The event runs for all of February 2026, with entries open now until 20 February.

Great news, I'm looking forward to it.
Is there going to be the random draw division? I won this one last year ![]()

Not the same calibre of lucky draws as last year, unfortunately. It's a non-sponsored event this year, but if participation is good, then it makes the argument for better giveaways in future events. I'm already planning something a bit different for later in the year.
And we're off! First track posted for the month:www.ka72.com/Competitions/Fast-February/Leaderboards
If you join later in the month, you may need to re-view your earlier tracks in order to force the result calculations. Just reach out to me with a track link if you get stuck (via the report a track link on the overlay page.)
Good luck everyone!
You'll see a bunch of stats starting to appear on the leaderboards page as the data accumulates over the month.
Thanks for pointing that out. The calculation was obviously bonkers. I've reset the results for this division for everyone and the correct numbers should now show.Over 4000km sailed so far in this year's Fast Feb!
I think there is still some bonkers in there Dylan. My wing session shows top speed as 50k calculation. Anyway thanks for running it again. Im pushing because of the comp. Its completely bonkers to chase numbers and mythical sheep station winnings but im enjoying a lot and improving ![]()
btw, where's all the wingers!? I would have thought wing foiling GPS could be pretty popular and just as enjoyable but nope not here this time.

Im hoping to post a wing session soon! Been busy and only managed to post one windsurfing session so far.
Im still a little nervous pushing on the wing after rib fracture in October but also enjoying trying
Ill remind Dylan to check the calculations again!

Yup definitely something odd there. As that track isn't even 50k long, there shouldn't be a result at all. I had a peek as some other short tracks and they are missing the result. Not sure why yours decided to be different. Must be wing-power or something. I'll tweak it manually (if I can) and try to get to the bottom of it for next time.
I didn't even need to go fast or far to win as I was the only one. Until Kelly showed up and smoked me.
Yes I'd love to see more wings and foils. Lots use GPS, but event like this aren't very common so they usually get missed. Don't panic though, you're still holding a lead in some divisions!
