G'day

I'm interested in thoughts about a good race watch.

I always sail with my GT-31 GPS so wondering if it could be useful, except that the buttons are awful!

Cheers

Optimum (big yellow) is good, easy to see on hte water and easy to set.
If you get one, make sure you tighten the screws on the back, I went through 2 of these that misted up, carried on working for a bit then stopped. Both replaced no problem, this time I tightened the screws and no misting after 5 months. Loads of people I know use this watch for slalom

I'm not sure if they still make them but the S321 SEIKO stopwatch is good also.
Inexpensive.
Big buttons, big numerals and has adjustable everything in terms of countdown/countup timers and a good audible signal at zero.
It's also waterproof enough.
Have used one for years.
