I just came across this:
http://www.dutchfunspeeders.nl/Home.html

it seems that at least one dutch team is so keen that they've made a team website already!

It's fantastic to see people who are as enthusiastically mad as we are

Nebs,
Keep up all the good work - It's good to see not all the dutch speedsailors feel as threatened as one dutchman who appears to be trying to cast aspersions and are enthusiastic about what the GPSTC can offer (in addition to the GPSSS).

PS - I see Elmo's cousin Menno is one of their riders.

Sausage, Its really hard to communicate over the internet to people with different language and culture to us, and easy for mis-understandings to occur, and they are showing really good will to make co-operation happen. When angry we all do things we regret, even if our perception does not match the reaLITY of the world, if we believe we've been wronged, we get angry, and if I could only take back all of the stupid things I have done when I've been ANGRY, Lord of the Imbeciles have I been Its time to move on and promote and facilitate the wonderful sport of windsurfing, thats the one thing we all share a passion for windsurfing!!!!!!!!

Hi there down under,

I've added a translate button to the site so you can follow how we are preparing for the GTC season here in the cold freezing Netherlands (at the moment).

It would be nice to make a (technical) link between GTC and GP3S so we as users have only to post once.

All these initiatives are good for the sport so keep up the good work.

All the best,
Mark

Top effort Mark and thanks for the translator button
I notice it only shows in English, none for AWSTRALIAN then?

This is very true, you can see our integration guide here:
gpsteamchallenge.com.au/pages/integration

This allows any website to post to ours.

We're waiting for the same to be done for GPSSS, not much we can do from here to speed the process up unfortunately.

These things do take time, and Dylan assures me that he is working as hard as he can to make the two sites talk to each other. I'm sure it will be ready very soon

Perhaps it's good to write a short explanation. As board member of GP3S I would ike to state that we fully support the GPSTC site and have always been supportive. It would have been all to easy to create a team option in our drop down menu bar and show team rankings as well. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand it would have been commerically interesting (if any money can be earned through windsurfing haha), to come up with this additional tool. Since we're into this for a hobby and not for commercial reasons we would like to keep all together. No need for a Coca Cola/Pepsi Cola fight, so to say.

It would be nice to be able to cover the costs though and we hope riders participating on both sites realize a lot of work needs to be done behind the scenes, so any help is welcome. In our case, please become Gold member if you respect and enjoy our work. By doing so you make it easier for us to invest more time to get our sie to a higher standard.

From both sides atempts have been made to connect our sites for a longer period of time. For whatever reason it didn't work out up till now, and yes there were some frustrations, but it seems the respective tech experts are getting things done which is GOOD.

I was personally very pleased to see the GPSTC interest as rising in Holland and glad I was able to finally join a team myself.

Looks like the Dutchies have made their intentions clear and are gunning for SRM's title with some solid numbers straight out of the box

Looks like they're already switched on to the tactical division sailing as well

Be interesting to see what they'll do when their season actually starts

Game on

Yep - they are so keen that they have driven all the way to La Franqui! (South of France).

This will be a very interesting year!
