I used a broken top section to make a skinny mast extension. Worked for about 3 months 100% carbon, weighed nothing. Started to look a bit sketchy though and I gave up trusting it.

Have also made a bow sprit out of a top section when jury rigging an assymetrical spinaker on a spiral dingy before :D

Nice. Me missus is redoing the basement here and I'm trying to convince her to use sundry windsurfing bits like your board-table pic above. But to no avail. No taste for decoration

Sometime in that late 80's I was involved in a plot to steal the 18ft skiff national championship banner from the side of (I think) Henley sailing Club in Adelaide. It was a long, long way up on the side of the building.
3 windsurfer masts duct taped together with a sharp kitchen knife at the top and it was done.
They must have been stratching their heads as to how the hell somebody nicked it.

Oh to be young and foolish again!!!!

Saw a 460 being used to remove a dugite (snake) from a popular windsurfing spot, by a large red muppet.

Beach rod holders. Graphite rod requires similar quality holder not just a bit of PVC

great for a deadly cannon,at sandy point speed fortnite we shot the plug out with water pressure from hose with a gum nut in front of the plug.we aimed for the shed and absolutely dented it.if you could just see the footage we got it was so crazy. if you aimed for some one this would really do some damage.

This is boring compared to others mentioned, we used 2 for volleyball net poles on no-wind arvo's waiting for the NE'ers at the beach. When the wind came up down went the net. In those days there was always enough windsurfers sitting around waiting for wind to make more than 2 sides! Good fun and you can get a workout running around on the sand especially when you play 2 on 2 "Top Gun" style. Aaaahhh, it was good being young and fit...and lighter.
