Ah, Stanley, I was thinking it was around Port Sorell as well, no wonder I couldn't place it. Where abouts at Stanley? East Inlet? Heading over there as well, and have never sailed there.

I just dug this one up from a while ago.I'm using my RS6 4.6 so it's probably blowing 35+.Some rolling chop about mid Pit and the bent front arm's a sign that I might have a dose of "white knuckle fever".

Was it NW up there? Looks like a good run for a NW. Can I book either a NW or a seabreeze for the 17th and 18th Sept, preferably around 20-25 knts.?

Have you guys checked this out? Ansons bay entrance. Not very long but looks the perfect angle for an easterly and the line is 250m so I recon you could get 10 sec runs in there no worries.

it would be good but see those black dots in the water , there big rocks and 10 knots of tide but in a south easterly anson bay is awsome

Sorry. The above was off topic.
Here is my speed shot.
2007. Ed Seymour with me hot on his wake. Twin 5m KA Koncepts. 40kts+

seconds later Ed 'bought the sail'.

Special thanks to Adam Gerlach for the photography.

Very interesting to see the guys at this link and those who have posted in this topic with the varied stance on each board.
Also interesting are the lack of on the fly adjustable out-hauls on most rigs.

I call this daring to sail in one of the most polluted bits of water in WA. Lucky Col has photoshopped the pollution all out of this shot!

The water isn't too flat but there is plenty of breeze - that's the 5.0 Koncept twisting away.

This is Hardy going down "Hardies Run" in the early days, this would now be classed as the outside, we now go through the glassy (read Furken weedy) patch in the middle on our NM runs.

This is the Big fella heading back up wind

Wind was only 16-22 that day
