It looks like fantastic conditions for going fast. Is someone going to give us all a bit of a rundown on what's been happening down there for the speed week?
Some more pics and some stats/wind info would be good.

Hi Tim, yes that was Ian K. There's a DVD for sale with all of the pictures from the sailing sessions, so pretty much everyone will be in them.
As far as a run down goes, it's pretty informal. Everyone gets out and sails when there is wind and at the end of the day they can submit their GPS data files and the times are worked out. This is my first time here so I don't know enough to tell you how that's done.
The good thing about it is the same as a lot of other windsurfing holidays, with a good sail followed by a beer, some food, and discussions of what the day was like. There's a few barbeques run during the week especially if there has been some decent wind.
Running it as a week or fortnight means that everyone turns up at the same time and makes it more fun and competitive.
If you are like me you can get in some decent gybing practice if the winds not ideal, but going down the speed run is pretty addictive. The first time down there I couldn't believe how flat it was and it felt like I was running on ball bearings!
