I have a flymount which is sweet but this looks better than a $90 mount. probably a better way to do it but nice and easy.

Not sure on how many holes you will end up in the luff and to me it's a bit risky.
You can buy a camera mount for under $8 dollars that is adjustable and good for the job. The centre screw needs to be enlarged on it and good to go.

As we have more than one gopro. Dad made up a heap of these. Out of pvc pipe, heated up and bent. These actually work very very well. No vibration and its that solid on boom and when clipped onto mast.. Just have to make sure, when making the shape that it is a significant fit. what ever it clips onto.. works a dream, for such a simple thing.
