have 1986 tc spacer its the only board i have with a center board should i change mast track 2 suit new 1998 bomborra mast track ha ha hey i have a 2 year old neil pride 8.4 & rig but the tc has weird pop out mast track wont fit my sails change it over or try too make furniture out of it to buy another ha ha

My dad has a TC Beacher and we had a simular problem. I know the two uni joints are completely different (even though they were made by the same company, what idiots) but what i did was:

Down the center of the uni joint was a bolt that held the bit that went into the board, and the bit that went into the mast together. I ended up taking them apart and replacing the top (which had no pulley system) to have a few pulleys on it. I used an older style tyronsi (spelling) pulley which worked fine and fitted perfectly both onto the old uni joint which fitted the board and a new mast or mast extension.

Hope this helps IF you can understand a word i said. Will post pictures if you would like. Changing it to a track just seems like so much work for not much achievement. If theres other easier alternatives why not try it. Hopefully the Beacher and the Spacer are a bit the same so you can do the same thing i did.

Still got the old Spacer hangin' in the garage.

Given how little wind we have had - I might get it out with a modern sail on it,
partic as Chris 249 (WHO HASN'T PICKED UP THE ONE DESIGN FROM ME YET)
says they go well compared to a lot of longboards.
