Hi everyone just after some tech info when i bought my starboard go had a part attached above the fin box. didnt think to ask about it when i bought it now im wondering what its for. can anyone help thanks.

Even if the pads are cut out to fit, it looks aftermarket to me.... and bloody dangerous for the toes too !!

yeah I am pretty sure its for a clip on wheel setup so you dont have to carry the sucker around. I have seen similar things on an exocet learner board a few years ago.

dont have a shark shield so i suppose i could hook a spoiler on it to change the aerodynamics abit. I definately dont want to slow down enough to use it as a fishing rod holder

So, they label the board with 'Tufskin' and then add a shark shield.

I think they may not actually believe it really is 'tufskin'... or rhinos have gotten wimpy.

Not sure got it from onboard surf shop in Adelaide so dont know where the previous owner used it. You dont really here off windsurfers been taken by sharks though. not that it couldnt happen off course.

it's a white thingy with red line and knobbly bits attached to what looks like a back of a windsurf board. Maybe a trailer hitch?
