my f2 ride recently had the nose smashed in and i decided that the best thing to do would be to chop it off. Its only the very pointy bit at the end so it shouldnt affect the board at all. i was wondering who has done this before and how they sealed it up. the board has a plastic tough skin and not much fiber glass and im wondering if glass will stick to this.

I did
chop off 10 or 20 cm of my very old wave board .
Board had very sharp pointy nose ( and three fins BTW)
I fibre glassed new nose. Doesn't looks professional but is functional.
Anyway not much use as old board was designed for older style rigs and although shape overall looks modern now , balance is completely different.

Quite a few of us on here have done this before. It's a good thing to do if your Ride is in good condition apart from the nose.
You can probably retrieve the threads.
