Top stuff Glitch. It was Paulownia my mate used for his canoe and worked a treat, great to see it can also work on windsurfers. Your boards look great, particularly the first one with Paulownia.
So does anyone have the designs for a Div II like a Lechner?
I have been toying with the idea for a long board along the lines of an exocet d2. if I ever get round to making one I'll send you the details. If you do a search on the lbwindsurfing site there are some ideas by yagon for a similar board that he has drawn up. It might be worth contacting him for the details as that could easily be adapted for a wood build.
There are also some SUPs that work well. The Wood Surfboard Supply Company have a SUP with a sailboard conversion kit.
woodsurfboardsupply.com/sailboard.html . There is also this thread
http://grainsurf.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5051 for a racing SUP that is still in the prototype stage for the Wood Surfboard Supply Company that could posibly be converted to an efficient light wind board.
