I went night windsurfing once. We lit up the sails with those flourescent fishing lights. Looked really awesome with 6-7 "christmas trees" on the water.
with a mate, I've sailled well past sun-down before on metropolitan lake, reluctant to stop with such a good summer evening breeze. eventually there was a fair bit of city light, but in the twenty minutes after sun-down, the water was entirely in silhoette and unreadable, so it was all sailling by feel (and keeping tabs on the other sailor so we didn't hit into each other). it was actually a lot easier than i would have thought.
but Jaws is no metropolitan lake - i'd expect the
nutbag surfer above would have to spot the potential ramps to soak them up and not launch. but maybe not - maybe you just ride in a deep low position and you can absorb anything that comes your way.
and that para-sailing through the snow-capped crags? wow. that is amazing. it looks like they have absolute zero room for error, and then barrel-roll into the crevice??!?!! craaaaaaaaazy mofos!
