The other past time.

I think below is the equivalent to over sheeting, to be followed by imminent spin out. (CAMS motorkhana Eastern Ck Oct 8)
Solution, more rebound adjustment on the rear shocks!...less outhaul

Don't think you can apply any more outhaul, the back wheel is already ventilating. To get the stern out put harder (softer?) brake pads up back, blip the throttle at the gybe mark while applying a bit of brake pressure. Only a suggestion, I can't drive, but I heard Carlos Sainz say something like that as he wriggled out of an inverted rex.

He is writing English. Chicks as in chickens. From there is the deduction you live on a farm or if you live in town you chase frozen chickens.

Anyway what do I do when its not windy. Go to work, clean the house, pick my wife up from the train station, browse Seabreeze and write crap. Since getting a beginners board, RRD Easyrider we have started going to the water even when its not windy. My wife is learning to windsurf and is getting good time on the water. I go for a sail on it when she wants to have a break.

Apologies for the sick sense of humour. Yes as Mobydisc interprets. Chickens !!! fresh or frozen.

My friend, a shrink, has told me some interesting stories..... about the trussed up No.16 Steggles.... ignore my rambling...

Boards mag UK did a survey. It showed that a large proportion (can't remember the number) of windsurfers were also into mountain bikes and or surfing.

I used to do the bike thing before i trashed my knee.

Finally got a nice 5 metre fibreglass sea kayak (s/hand) about 2 months ago after searching around for decent one for at least a year. Now I'm not so desperate if the wind doesn't blow for a while!!! Also do a bit of mountain bike riding as well.

What do I do when it's not windy? Have a big night out without having to get up in the morning/afternoon for the wind... Sometimes it's good but often it's always windy after having a big night... Always the case. Sods law

Cycling and SUP. Last few months I've lost about 6Kg and it makes a big difference to windsurfing. I was looking at getting a bigger sail than my current 7.5m, but now I plane earlier and get around a gybe further before stalling. The down side is I can't hang on much over 20 knots now. Still, it's a trade off I'm happy with as it doesn't blow over 20 knots much anyway.

Maybe that is another reason why windsurfing isn't as popular anymore. Many people have put on weight as the years went on and now the wind has to blow harder for the same experience.

That's probably why speed sailing is becoming more popular, more weight helps to hold down a bigger sail without a weight jacket....that's my excuse anyway.
