Found this skimming through QantasLink air mag on a recent flight. It's great to see windsurfing being promoted but why WA tourism would still be using such an old stock photo beats me. And also I thought we only got water that colour up here in Queensland. Maybe someone should give Tourism WA Col's (Windsurf Australia photography) contact no. - no doubt he has many more appealing photos to choose from.
Extra points if someone knows who the sailors are and what year???
Carantoc, Yeah I wasn't so much concerned about the age of the photo but rather the quality of the water. Every photo I've ever seen of WA (mostly on here by pros and amateurs alike) the water is crystal clear. You'd think if anyone should promote WA in the most attractive light then WA Tourism should be the one.
The only place I have seen milky water in WA is near the jetty at Woodmans Point, where they mine lime (I think). Maybe that's where the shot was taken.
