So the stupid bike tossed me and the concrete direct hit has turned the 80% shoulder cuff to full tear, and the bursa is banged up so I have actually heard and felt noise in there between screaming. On heart meds so no anti inflammatory meds allowed but between scans had a horse serum shot yesterday, next is mri then surgeon.
Just seeking advice from similar cases here, I chose no surgery 5 years ago with the partial tear, and I'm getting other crash buddies 50/50 advice on the knife.
At 68 the family says ease back but honestly windsurfing just gets me somewhere that nothing else can. Glide on a longboard, blast (in the flattest water i can find) on a short board, sailing on boats gets close but just not epic.
I've got lots of video to relive it all, but if you know, you know....

Can't talk to your specific injury but I hear you! Been told to take time off the water, but it's not easy. had a sneaky LT session last weekend to plug the holes.
