A recent english wind surfing mag,it may have been Boards did a comparison between a cammed Point 7 and a non cammed and came up with a very suprising result.

.... what were the results (just in general terms)??

I brought an 8.7m a few months ago. Goes great. Huge range. Would like to try it out in less than 20-25knots though. At 75kg it was a handfull but surprising controllable (relatively). I think it looks really cool also, at least I feel cooler.

You'll have to get one of the Black Exocet Slalom boards to match the sail, for a completely cool look!

Yep, I'm riding P7 still ... also working for them ;-)

You'll like the durability on them. The black monofilm isn't just for looks; we have a slightly thicker film than other brands which is a bit more resistant to crinkles (from rigging) and is 100% UV resistant, so it won't get brittle and crack after years in the sun. The orange film in the window is also 100% UV resistant.

I think you'll find our sails are a touch heavier than some others on the market, but generally its cause everything is super reinforced and the materials are much more heavy-duty. End result: they last longer.

As for masts... best to have the P7 ones, but if you already have either a North or a Gun Sails mast, they are the closest in bend and you could get away with it.

To be honest, the no-cam sails (AC-X) rock! I'd stick to them unless you are trying to get a lot of top-end control out of your sail or want to race...

Why is it that Vic only have JP, NP and starboard as the main brands available?

I did see a pic somewhere of Mr Obrien on a black Exocet Formula board with point 7 sail....looked very nice

But the SB full carbon is not a bad looking combo with the P7 either.

Havent seen a alack CA as yet.
