Hello all I am trying to track old photographs and even videos of Mike Maguire windsurfing, and looking on the net just brings up links with so far, one recognisable photograph, the rest are not him or him possibly in a group? could anyone help me identify which ones may be him or where else to look?

hi chrissy,

this is why he is called turtle.

i thought i had more than this but a search didn't help out. if you need these in high res format let me know and i'll dig up the originals on CD. these would have been taken from a burst of shots so there is prob 5-6 images per sequence.

Don't even remember seeing him on the scene in the 80s...

Greeny could be right, possibly wrong Mike.

back in the old days there was a windsurfing guru with the same name, I say guru as he was instrumental in getting me out on a mast high day at currumbin when I was about 16, so a very long time ago. He was from down Byron way and is actually credited as being one of the pioneers of the sport in this country.
