Here's some more photos from the Australian Wavesailing Titles at Margaret River this year - this is just a few of what was supposed to go on the AWT site but it's been awhile so thought I'd put them on my site in the meantime. There's still a virtual tour to go up soon as well.

Graceman, I only use the 7d for video, the stills out of the 7d just aren't up to scratch so all my stills are done on the 1D MKIIn.

NR, Jodie (Whitecaps) has the same headstand photo but taken from the land.

Thank's for that Elmo, look's like you noticed these images are subject to copyright

What did you find wrong with the 7D exactly? I was interested in your use of that centrifuge btw for the smooth video, worked pretty good.

Ozpricey, The 7d is soft, not too bad with premium lenses but most lenses don't look too good on it - great for video though. Most people probably couldn't tell the difference but once you've seen hi-res images from a 1d you can't go back! By the way, I never used a gyro on the nationals video - hired one but it mulfunctioned during the night so all footage was handheld, would have been quite a bit better if the gyro was working though.
I've now ordered a nice brand new one from the U.S. so won't have to worry about that problem happening again and can have it with me more often.

Oh you'd be spewing! The footage was pretty good without it so interested to see what it'll look like with it. BTW What lenses did you use from the heli?

Oz, 24mm 1.4 Canon.

What's with all the references to "copyright" - did I spell it wrong or something?

Justin,
24mm stayed on the 7d for video - stills were mostly 70-200 2.8 is and 24-70 2.8.
