But I can't.

This summer is the first I am sailing with a rashie rather than a springsuit and it flaps like a $&^*()*^ in the wind and rubs my nippies red raw.
I thought rashies were supposed to stop rashes not cause them.

What's to go - is it just too loose? Stop the flapping fabric and stop the irritation will surely work. But then it would be ridiculously tight.

Does everyone else wear a rashie that is 2 sizes smaller than what you'd wear under a wetsuit or when surfing.......?

Have suffered from the same in the past.
I have a rip curl one with a small wetsuit nip panel. now just sail with my prolimit vest over the top of a rashie.

Just use clothes pegs to clamp your rashie to your nipples, that should stop the fabric flapping Mark, or try cutting holes in the fabric where your nipples rub

Hope you're not working Xmas, have a good one

I bought a rash shirt and true to its name...I got one!! I then went out and tried to buy a no-rash shirt....alas they don't exist
At least it gives you the claims it makes!

Maybe it was the clothes pegs from the night before.

Seriously though I thought about something like a clothes peg on the rashie in between the shoulder blades to tighten it across my chest - but that is starting to get a bit weird like the gym junkies who get the sleeves taken in on their shirts to make the biceps look bigger

Then I thought band-aids but seriously - every session?

I'm now thinking t-shirt over rashie (thanks for the inspiration kiters!) so tshirt flaps but rashie sticks to skin when wet so doesn't move as it is no longer exposed to the wind.

I need help, the next few days are fkn ON

Saw on fuel tv mark visser advise vaseline on the nipples, I used to wear my rashies really tight so they wouldn't rub on my sensitive nipples...
and I would look so muscular ....
Now that I've got a beer gut I wear a Ion impact vest without anything under it and no rash.....

Maybe the wetshirt isnt actualy moving??? Might be the man boobs bouncing
Yep,the others are right with the vas on the nips idea.
You might get some strange looks in the car park when you apply it though.

Just cut a couple of holes to free the nipples, it should be an interesting look. Just don't show the kite boys, you might start a new fad

I usually buy my rashies to fit tight and dont have a problem. However even a tight one will stretch and get loose over time, thats when its time to replace it!

Rashie should be skin tight not flapping in the breeze, I use some sort of Nike undergarment that perhaps is stretchier than a typical rashie.
Here it's hanging dry in the garage next to me it's called a Nike Pro Combat dri-fit compression anyways it fits like a second skin.
Mostly I use it for SUPing.
Have you ever seen in a marathon race they put tape over their nipples.

I wondered why you missed the first session this morning, 3 hours before lunch - fkn awesome. Don't be a scrooge, go and see Chrissie and get a decent fitting rashie, if it's flapping in the breeze it's too big or too old, the rashie that is

rashes should always be a struggle to get on, they are not a Tshirt. If you buy one the same size as your shirt it will rub and be unpleasant.

Matathon runners have the same problem and put band aids on their nipples before a run. Its the only thing that is guaranteed to work.

But seriously: It's supposed to be skin tight. No, like zero, wrinkles. If you can get it on easily it's too big. That's not ridiculously tight, it stretches. It's practically a second skin.

This wetshirt is actually far too loose.

Should be like this:

and the second ....... yeah we all look like that. Where is the rashie for the real person with some GUT (oh yeah big pecs too, but some gut as well)

Mark i think thats the problem.
Your gut is pulling the rashie away from your chest leaving room for your boobies to bounce with just enough material bushing your nipples causing nipple rash

try wearing one of these
