My 5m - 5.6m Loft Blades have travelled approx 10,000km(in the trailer) in the past year and half, in this time the sails developed fine scratch marks over the window monofilm from all the bouncing around while travelling.
The good news is that you can remove 90% of the scratches!What you need is a drill and buff, Kitten cut and polish and some Vuplex.
Steps1. lay a blanket on the ground to protect your sail from further scratches
2. apply a small amount of kitten cut and polish on the areas you need to clean up
3. with the drill and buff, buff the area until all the polish and scratches have gone
4. repeat on all areas that need cleaning up
5. once completed spray on some Vuplex spray and hand buff off the residue
and that's it the sails will come up looking like new, if the scratches are deep you wont get them out but they will virtually dissapear and wont look as ugly.
I also had a harness hook dent in my new 6.3
using an iron i placed a tea towel between the sail and iron and simply held it over the spot for approx 30 seconds at a time and the dent came out there's only a small crease mark now

) but all you do is check it after 10 or so seconds to be safe(remember to use a tea towel and dont put it directly onto the mono film), does'nt take long for the dent to come out.
