might have to head off to bunnings and build oneafter ya windsurf session you could look back and see how you could improve ya jumps or flips. A very cool windsurf practise tool..
That a great angle for sure, only drawback is looks like it is angled for one tack only so after a you switch tacks u need to jump off and adjust the camera which could get old real quick
I had a bit of spare time over the summer and made a similar mount. I had an old alloy boom arm for which I made 2 clamp mounts to attach it to the end of any boom arm. The alloy boom arm is reversed (bendy bit at the back) and inverted (bendy bit pointing upwards) out the back of my boom. The camera is mounted on this and sits right on the centre line of my sailing boom. This was the test run so I chucked it on an old alloy boom I had - check out the flex in the boom and how much the draft moves on this Hucker sail. The great thing is that you can see all of the board (pretty much), your arms and body, as well as where you are sailing. It looks sweet went you jibe. Took about an hour to make and cost nothing. I never realised how many stupid faces I made while sailing -yes I'm wearing mouth guard
