I've seen an even funnier one, which I think was from around Spain or Portugal, where the guy gets pounded a few times.

Almost sad. I teach a few each summer, but I pick my crowd of newbs, as well as the conditions.
In this particular case above, I would say the board is too small for her.

Agree. Somone set her up with a large sail and a board too small.

I only found it funny when she was just laying accross the board, otherwise, I felt sorry for her.

After smashing gear in the shore break I sympathise wholly with those guys!

Spent about 10mins a couple of weeks back trying to get through a shore break...finally, when completely spent, I admitted defeat, picked up my gear & went home!
