Almost sad. I teach a few each summer, but I pick my crowd of newbs, as well as the conditions. In this particular case above, I would say the board is too small for her.
After smashing gear in the shore break I sympathise wholly with those guys!
Spent about 10mins a couple of weeks back trying to get through a shore break...finally, when completely spent, I admitted defeat, picked up my gear & went home!
