We can't believe no one sails here, It's becoming my favourite spot for bump and jump. It works well in SE through to SSW, south being the best and seems to be a few knots stronger then anywhere else on the coast. On a big day the rolling swell that comes through can throw some half mast ramps at you, It's awesome fun. There's also a reef that provides a short speed strip for the speedsters, with the bay over 5km from one side to other there's plenty of room. I sailed today fully powered on a 6.7 and 112FSW and had a blast. Last time we sailed we even had some dolphins come and play, It's worth a look.
