I agree with west hammer you popped da pole end over end ,WHATS happened now you have found kiting ,may be you should get back out there with da boys and bring back da you know its never to late to re convert .....but then i guess when you ve had that procedure theres no going back.

I reckon poleys are stronger from lifting all that heavy, clunky gear. Kiters are weak.
It's quite simple: kiters are hooked throughout and don't break a sweat. They come back to shore having the same energy as when they left. That doesn't make windsurfers stronger.
Looks like the real sport is in sorting out the lines (which from afar seems to be some sort of a same-sex foreplay ritual...).
