Looks abit like an int softboards. Have you seen them, they're fun in mushy little rubbish surf.

Can help out a bit with some info on how the 7S rides - had mine around a year now...
It is a real fun board, nice shape, heaps of volume which helps it surf well in small to medium waves.
I have the 8ft and have had heaps of real nice waves in up to a bit over head high (haven't had the chance to try bigger yet). It excells in long rides where you can carve heaps and do smooth turns along the wave. If you like any quick snappiness in the board at all this will not do - but if you're after the fish style cruisy surfing and fluid carves it is fun as!

Pros:
-Paddles into fat waves you never think it will (much more like longboarding)
-Easy board to use, trims beautifully along the wave (improved my surfing heaps)
-The speed/power from the board is surprisingly good.
-Quad/Thruster FCS options (I use quad and love it)

Cons:
-They are pretty pricey (Rudd bought mine for me in last years handout).
-Built in thailand or something I think? Build quality is good, but not brilliant.
-Everyone seems to have one.
-Very flat. Nose dives on take off are real common until you get used to it and its not really ideal for steep drops in hollow waves (although now my skills are starting to improve it's not so bad).

In summary I would definitely get a board this shape again! I love this style of surfing. I probably would get a custom one made locally though (I feel bad taking my money global when there are so many awesome shapers around).
Very good board for what I want to do and I have so much fun on it I can't even describe it in words!!
Would I get the same again? probably not. Would I get a similar size/style of board again? Definitely!!

Thanks for the suggestion on the 7s Super Fish, they look great. It does cost a bit of $$$. Does anyone know how well they ride?

I think I will still look at the Y Quad and try to get one sent from overseas, I have ridden a friends last year and it is really fun especially for the days when the waves abit small and messy.

G'day - did you end up getting a y-quad? I've ridden one as well - great fun. Emailed them to see if I can get one sent out. They're happy to do it but it's going to cost US$250 for the shipping, plus the cost of the board. They said it's the same price to get two boards shipped as it is for one, because it's done on size, not weight. Let me know if you're keen, as we can halve the cost of the shipping. I live on the northern beaches. cheers
