I'm looking for recommendations on double shortboard bags for OS trips?
My sons off on his third trip to indo next month and has encountered damaged
boards once landing in indo, funny no damage on the way home each time.

I've used FCS and Komunity in the past, never had any major issues with not so gentle baggage handlers.

Take a trip to Clark Rubber before you pack, treat yourself to a few pool noodles and 'camp mats'

I'll slice the pool noodle in half lengthways and tape them to the rails of my boards, then pack a camp mat inbetween each board. Then you strap everything up nice and tight and pack any space with towels and clothes.

O&E double compacts are not as bulky as the coffins and therefore don't send the airlines into a frenzy when you are checking in. Also a bit cheaper and can still carry one board with no hassle. Worth looking at.

always used and sold FCS and find nice and compact and don't get heavy when wet costing you extra at check in
beware of covers with fabrics that absorb water especially in the wet season

I can make you a double like this 6'3" that weighs 1.9kg. for $160 +

Or a multi boardbabag that can be adjusted to fit 1,2,3or4 boards it weighs in at around 3kg.
