Very nice..

Obviously that's a hard board, but do you run softer fins? Or are they even available?

I always worry when one of mine jumps on a hard board with fins..

Do you get soft fins that will clip into FCS plugs Ive seen loads of great value boards that would suit my kids so if you can stick an alternative into a plug ill keep an eye out for the next bargain

I do still like the foamy's when there both with me as they are like fly to a light next to each other. On the weekend i got cleaned up by my own board trying to separate them

How good is it when your young grommies start finding the passion, Gives us old grommies an excuse to hit the beach.

Soft fins, here's an option.

PROTECH powerflex from a company called Surfco, there a hawaiian company and I'm pretty sure there's a supplier in WA (may need to research). I got mine from Steve Del at Clearwater a while back but maybe Mr Katana can help you here if your North of the river. My young bloke's (11 year old) been using them in his board and I think there great with soft rubber around the edge of the whole fin which is made of plastic and in the pack was a soft nose protector as well. One of his mates landed on one while they were playing touch rugby on the beach and it just snapped clean which I guess is a good thing, no damage to the FCS plugs or the kid. I've used them and although they don't have much drive there still ok and serve the purpose there designed for.
