Chasing any info on one of these. I'm looking at grabbing it for a bit of fun for my young guy and maybe as a back up belly board when away on trips for non surfing mates.

But i can't find any info on them. Its old and cheap and I'm checking it out tonight but thought id ask early anyway

Will post a few picks if i grab it tonight
Oh and its 5'11" x 23"1/4 x 2"9/16..I think thats wider than my SP

I seem to remember a feral dude riding one in the NW desert in the early 90s. He ripped on it.

Shaped by Marc Fitzpatrick, usually in Murray Smiths shaping rooms, you'll need to adjust your stance forward if you're riding it standup as the fins will be further forward than your Spud.
If you're going to ride it as a kneelo aim to have your ankles over your front fins in your stance and lean forward into your turns.

It's not for me. Thinking it might work for my 9 year old. He rides a Elnino 6 but it won't turn and he struggles trimming along the wave. Mind you at 23" this might be the same. Will see. Dave I'd really like around 5'9 or but bigger 19 to 20 wide for him if anything comes in. In a grommie kind of shape ish. If that makes sense.

I was really thinking if owned a knee board then. I really could claim to know everything

It'll be pretty skatey Rod. Built to be surfed with a low centre of gravity, mind you with those dims it was probably built for someone about 80kg so a featherweight might need the high centre of gravity to bury the rail.

Now i see why you have a bad back SMicko

I grabbed it last night. Turns out it was under the house when the lady bought it. Its rough but i couldn't walk away from a board in need of love, Even a knee board.

God we need some swell.

I'll fix up a few small dings and then maybe have a play with it over Christmas then maybe look at getting it restored. Is that an ridiculous idea (expensive) or not so bad..I recon a few hundred bucks and t would great on a wall..

Yeah Smicko the fins are well forward and the centre fin is a box style..
