Hi, anyone on here got one or have any opinions??
I've got both the V1 and V2 SuperFish XL models and I have been happy with both. The V2 in 'super' epoxy looks new after about 2.5yrs old - just wiped her clean for a new coat of wax and was very impressed with the lack of dents on the deck and underside.
I think the original designers label is wizsticks or something on the east coast. 7s ones are made in Thailand or some ****

Thanks GPA, I like the look of them...
Yes Thailand. The construction quality is very good.
My JP 8'2 sup is made in Thailand, it cannot be faulted!

I, my wife n kids have 5 boards made by my local shaper and other than the sup have never had an "off the shelf" surfboard. Heading down the coast next week n keen to see what is out there![]()

I can think of at least two faults with that sentence.

Hey Loz did you end up getting a Superfish 3? If so what's the report? Anybody else got one yet?
I read an advert yestrday saying they are now designed by Richie Lovett?
Anyone heard anything about this?
Or seen the 3?
Is the 3 much different to the older ones,
I think Richie is just their brand ambassador, but I could be wrong (He's in a bunch of their clips....and it may be worth noting that he also says very nice things about the Meyerhoffer Supernormal AND the Walden Mini Mega Magic). The fish looks like it goes alright, but that may be the pilot (he looks to me like he hates the Walden but is trying to smile for the cameras.)
Got my missus one of these for her first board - she absolutely loved it - stable and easy to pick up plenty of waves.
I had a go and enjoyed it but was comparing it to a sunova 8 ball which I felt was more exciting to turn and a bit more comfortable in larger swell - both were 8'
Yeah i ended up with a 7 foot superfish cv3... Doesn't have the step deck like previous versions but has a heap of volume under the chest so paddles like an 8 footer... Lots of rocker and nice and loose as well, very very light tho and have a few heel marks in it already but overall very happy.. First surf on it was solid 4 foot and was very easy to dial in even after coming down from my mals and sups...I'll post up some pics later tonight![]()

Yeah that's what I thought but not how it read at all.
Sounded like Richie was designing them now along with a few other board in the range.
Super fish 3 is a winner. I have the 6'3 but should have gone smaller. my weight is 85Kg but I purchased it at a heavier weight and still thought i could have gone smaller for the performance the board gives.
It's a magnet. The board being thick and wide is still heavier under foot than say a POD, but the less effort in paddle to pick up waves is the energy saver that allows you to stay out surfing for longer periods.
The only worry I have is with the colour I picked. The pink/red and blue kind of makes me feel like I am riding a large lure and if any such hungry toothy critter happens to swim past for a feed may mistake me for an injured dolphin or large fish.
