Just curious about peoples opinions on resin bleed designs, are they too old school or dated or are they seen as a form of art & design that people appreciate?

A few examples;

I don't mind them on logs and fish type boards.

I like a clear deck with the wrap around bottom and rails,not a total wrap.

i like em, they seem to be alot more tecnical(better, fancier)than the old days. some of those examples look really good(unreal,choice)

I do like but it's a personalised touch - The Scorpion looks good mate , rails going into whole bottom

Edit: The last pic reminds me of a Walnut Burl , the Scorpion has a marble feel to it

Good luck

That DMS looks great. I love a good swirl, and they show some skill from the glasser too as they are pretty hard to do well. If you work it too much you just get mud so its hard to get a good crisp swirl. I agree with mac though, a swirl on the bottom with the deck clear looks great. I threw a little black swirl in the tail of the last board I made!!
