Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents.


The weekend looked like a total non event surf wise.
The weather here has been a howling NW hot real fire
weather this weekend.The weather experts who well
most of the time get it wrong,however they predicted
a AFTERNOON change from NW to SE and bang on they
were.I've been checking the cams in hope of some rideable
waves and three hours ago it was on,SE howling the surf cleaned
up so I hit it with the other smart guy's,about 10 of us sharing
3 foot perfection on the points.UFO time!

I guess the moral of the story is,NEVER give up hope.

Ted, just saw that footage on the news and rewound and watched it a few times on slo mo as well. Just wondered if the bloke would have got hit by the falling telegraph pole if it wasn't for the trees cushioning the fall. Buy a lottery ticket that bloke.

best part of it was, it was big, but then about 45mins left of light it go REALLY BIG and everyone had cleared out of the water so it was half a dozen to share the waves yew

the pics show some size, but not how big it did get. also i was standing on the side of the cliff looking down. It got ALOT bigger...tomz is expected to peak at 6.2ft im thinking i will be calling in sick to take photos and surf.
